Thankyou Angie!

Trebanos RFC are seeking a new Club Treasurer to succeed Mrs Angela Alder who is standing down from the role after 10 years as Club Treasurer.

We would like to thank Angie for the hard work and commitment she has given to the Club over the last 15 years, not only as Club Treasurer, but also for the establishment of the Club’s extremely successful Tea Stall and Saturday nightBox 13 that has generated funds for the Club that have been invested back into the Club, Junior Section and the 1st Team.

Angie and her husband Rod have been instrumental to the success we have achieved as a Club over the last two decades and will be sorely missed as committee members and officials.

Club Chairman Chris Penhale commented that he has enjoyed his time working with Angie and will miss her massively, but fully respects her decision to step down as Club Treasurer. Angie stepped into the role of Clun Treasurer at a difficult period in the Club’s history with the sudden passing of the Treasurer at the time Phil Young. Angie had massive boots to fill but stepped in when we needed her the most and excelled in the role.

The amount of unseen work both Angie and her husband Rod have put in over the years will never be forgotten or underestimated and both are a massive credit to the Cluband have been instrumental in its success over the last 15 years.

Everyone at Trebanos Rugby wishes Rod and Ang all the best for the future and hope that they continue to support the Club as they have done since moving to the village.

  Chris Penhale

Trebanos RFC Chairman
