Trebanos V Neath Preview

In the latest round of WRU Championship matches, Trebanos welcome the inform Neath RFC to the park, fresh off a big win vs Pontypool last week.

Trebanos, will be looking to dust themselves down and get back to winning ways after a difficult afternoon in Maesteg last week. In what was a battling afternoon, Trebanos lead at the break but eventually succumbed to heavy Maesteg forwards pressure, eventually losing by 35 points to 22.

With no premiership action this weekend, Trebanos are fortunate to welcome the return of Llandovery man Iwan Davies who takes his place in the second row. Pikey, who has been an integral part of the club since joining will be a massive boost no doubt. In other changes upfront, the experienced aled Humphreys returns up front and Captain Sean Hop makes his first start since injury, Dylan Hills will start at 8.

Behind the scrum sees two changes at half backs, with Jay weaver returning at 9, and Lewis Humphreys is back at 10. It's once again a young and fast paced back line, in which we hope the lads will see enough ball to unlock that tough Neath defence.

Kick off at the park is 2:30pm and the club will be open from 12 for the supporters.

Good luck to the banos 🔵
