Trebanos v Cardiff Met

Trebanos's first league match of 2022 sees the visit of Cardiff met to the park, 2 teams which have had some exciting games since Trebanos's rise to the championship. In what will be the club's first game in 8 weeks, Trebanos will look to hit the new year running and get back to winning ways after a couple of narrow losses in late November.

With no premiership action for Llandovery this weekend, Trebanos are fortunate to welcome the return of Kristian Jones at fly half. Since his move to Llandovery, appearances in blue for KJ have been few and far between, and he will this weekend add valuable experience to the back line. A supporters favourite , who will no doubt be excited to see him back on the park again!  Along with Kristan, Trebanos are bolstered up front with the return of former club captain Rhys Thomas to the front row. After time away, and work commitments, we are thrilled to see him back in the side this weekend, and he along with club captain Sean , will lead the side from the front no doubt.

Behind the scrum sees two further changes on the wings, with Frankie Jones coming in and Sam Davies returning after a long injury lay off with his recurring knee issue.

Kick off at the park is 2:30pm and the club will be open from 12:30 for the supporters.
Good luck to the banos 🔵
