Trebanos RFC are pleased to announce Sean Hopkins as the new captain of the Trebanos first Team.
Going in to his 8th season as a player, Sean is highly regarded amongst coaches and supporters, and has lead from the number 8 jersey for a number of years. Speaking on his appointment Sean said:
It'll be an honour to captain Trebanos in this, my 8th season.
I look forward to leading the boys out 70 years after my grandfather played for the club.
Hopefully be able to implement some of the things learnt from Twm over the years and we'll have a successful season.
A special mention must go out to Rhys "twm" Thomas. For what he has achieved as a captain and where he has taken the club through the past few seasons will go down history. Thankyou for everything Twm, but your not done yet !
Sean we wish you and the 1st Team all the best for the 2021/2022 season, and looking forward to some running rugby back on the park!
